A multifaceted and uplifting creative wellbeing project created and managed by Art Branches and supported by the National Lottery Community Fund.
The Space to Breathe project aims to inspire local communities to creatively engage with the environment and our rich natural heritage – and in so doing, improve wellbeing. The project takes place in a number of locations around Suffolk.
Our courses incorporate a range of creative activities, including: drawing, watercolour painting, photography, collage and poetry.
Space to Breathe is also accessible online over winter, with activities such as art workshops and explorations of fascinating local museum collections.
We have a dedicated website/blog presenting work created by workshop participants.
We accept applications / self-referrals from individuals and referrals from healthcare professionals, such as social prescribers and link workers.
